Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 22, 2026
This policy explains what Traveldele Passport collects, why, who we share it with and the choices you have. Your Passport is private by default.
1. What we collect
Account details: name, email, username, profile photo, home country and language, provided by you or by the sign-in provider you choose (for example Google).
Travel activity: check-ins, verified visits, stamps, badges, points, trips, lists, saved places, stories and photos you add.
Location: the place you check in to, and your device location only when you allow it for maps or nearby suggestions.
Applications and forms: details you submit to partner, ambassador or interest forms, such as phone number and social media handles.
Technical data: device and browser type, approximate location from IP address, pages viewed and error logs.
2. Passport stamp scans
If you scan passport stamps, the photo is read in memory by an automated service to suggest countries and dates, then discarded. We do not store the image or any identity document. Suggestions only count after you confirm them.
3. How we use it
To run your account and Passport features, verify check-ins and prevent fraud, personalize suggestions, process purchases and rewards, attribute referrals, respond to applications, send service messages and, if you opt in, marketing. We rely on our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running and securing Passport, your consent where required, and legal obligations.
4. What others can see
Your Passport is private unless you make it public in Settings. You choose whether your visit history, current trip and Explorer Level are visible. Partners see the check-ins made at their own places.
5. Who we share it with
Traveldele Platform services that hold your account, purchases, points and referral records.
Service providers that work for us: hosting and databases, maps, sign-in, payments (for example Stripe), referral tracking, email and push delivery, customer relationship management and AI processing. They may only use your data to provide their service to us.
Partners, only for check-ins, bookings or redemptions you make with them.
Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect people's safety.
We do not sell your personal information.
6. International transfers
We and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
7. How long we keep it
We keep account data while your account is open, and delete or anonymize it within 90 days after you close it, except records we must keep for legal, tax or fraud prevention reasons.
8. Your choices and rights
You can view and edit your profile, change visibility, download or delete your content and close your account from Settings. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent. To make a request, email us. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
9. Cookies and local storage
We use essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your language and keep a referral code for up to 30 days. We use limited analytics to improve Passport.
10. Children
Passport is not meant for anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and tell us about any suspected misuse.
12. Changes
We will post updates here and tell you in advance about significant changes.
